African Canadian Magazine launches in Canada

A Canada-based corporation, INCH Communications Inc., has launched a new online magazine and social media platform to allow for an objective coverage of news about, from and for the African Canadian communities across Canada and the world.

“This platform will provide a voice for the voiceless and ensure an objective coverage of our lived experiences as African Canadians,” said the founder of the online news portal and CEO of INCH Communications Dr. Chidi Igwe.

“Our platform also offers a social networking system just like Facebook. This will help the communities to participate, share their stories, photos, videos, and connect with other community member from Canada and around the world,” Dr. Igwe said.

On visiting the site at www.afrocanadian.org, the reporters were impressed with the amount of work done on the platform, especially the many features of the social media component.

Dr. Igwe added that the African Canadian communities and their friends will find this system very useful and a powerful tool to stay up-to-date with news and current affairs, as well as stay in touch with friends and families.
